Easylaughs Training Studio: Improvised Comedy Courses
If you always wanted to try out improvising, learn more about it, or just build some public speaking skills and self-confidence, easylaughs offers comedy improvisation courses in English for all levels of experience.
The classes are taught by talented improvisers with years of experience. Foundation courses (Levels 1 and 2) are 12 week programs for beginners that cover all the basics of improvisation. easylaughs also offers 8 week courses for advanced students as well as specialty courses in longform, music and stand-up.

Improvised Comedy Stream - Foundation Courses
Improvisation
Level 1 - Basics
In this 12 week course you will learn all the basic skills of improv. Beginning
moments, object work and physical activity on stage are primary focuses. Students
will learn basic performance games. The classes are very active - every game
or exercise will be practised by everyone, so everyone gets many chances to
get up and play. You will learn individual performance and presentation skills

Improvisation Level 2 - Beyond the Basics
In this class you will learn how to master your basic improv games and add that professionalism and polish to your scene work. The course concludes with a show on the easylaughs stage and much of the course will be geared towards getting that show as slick and self-assured as possible.You must have taken Level 1 with easylaughs to take Level 2. Foundation courses end with a student show.

Studio Courses
Studio courses are 8-week courses for advanced students who have completed levels 1 and 2 or who have at least equivalent experience. There are several types of studio course:
Acting for Improv
This course is for students interested in developing their acting skills. Character work, staging and scene structure will be the focus of this 8 week course. In the course students will use written scenes as well as monologues to create characters, form dramatic tension and use the stage effectively. Working with written texts the students will learn how to apply these skills in their improvisation, to create more dramatic scenes and deeper characters. In this course either some basic improvisation or basic acting experience is required.

Standup Comedy Course
We
are excited to announce a new round of courses in Standup Comedy. This course
will cover the skills standup comedians utilise and will help you develop
your own persona, style and material. This is a basic course aimed at people
with little or no experience in standup, but who are interested to try it

Start Writing Through Improv
In this short course, you will learn to use the techniques of improvisation to help you write. Whether it's getting started, finding inspiration or overcoming blocks, improv can help fire up your create juices and can even be used as a method of creating or refining written pieces. Want a course that happens when you want it to happen? If you have your own group people and a consistent time they are all available for 8 weeks, easylaughs can arrange the teacher and location for you. All levels of courses are available. To register for the courses Level 1-3 please send an email to courses@easylaughs.nl with your name, mobile phone number, email address and the course and start date you are registering for.Payment must be made to easylaughs, account 2433930, within one week. Please put the name of the course and the start date on your payment. Your registration cannot be held without payment.
Students making an early-bird payment up to one month before the start day of the course will get a discount of 10% from the course price.
Everyone who takes an easylaughs course is entitled to FREE standby entry to all easylaughs shows for the duration of the course.
Cancellation
You can cancel up to one week before the course and we will refund your
money without charge. Cancellation within one week up to the start of the
course and we will refund your payment minus a 10% handling charge. Cancellation
from the start day of the course to one week in the course and we will refund
your payment minus a 25% handling charge. No refunds are possible after
the first week of the course.
