easylaughs offers improvisation courses in English and Dutch for all levels of experience. The classes are taught by talented improvisers who all have years of experience teaching improvisation. All classes have a student performance at the end of the class in front of a real audience as part of the easylaughs Friday night improv show in Amsterdam.

Improvisation Level 1 - Learn To Improvise
In this course you will learn all the basic skills of improv. Beginning moments, object work and physical activity on stage are primary focuses. Students will learn basic performance games. The classes are very active - every game or exercise will be practised by everyone, so everyone gets many chances to get up and play. You will learn individual performance and presentation skills and how to work in a team.
Everyone who takes this course is entitled to FREE standby entry to all easylaughs shows for the duration of the course.
The first class is a free trial class. You can try it out and decide afterwards if you want to continue.

Improvisation Level 2 - Beyond the Basics
In this class you will learn how to master your basic improv games and add that professionalism and polish to your scene work. The course concludes with a show on the easylaughs stage and much of the course will be geared towards getting that show as slick and self-assured as possible.You must have taken a level 1 class with easylaughs to join this class.

Improvisation Level 4 - Up to Your Neck
In this course you will get in very deep with improv. Each week a different theme will be explored and participants will be helped to improve their stagecraft, push themselves further and be a better team player. Each student will get individual feedback to further their strengths and skills.You must have taken a level 3 class with easylaughs to join this class.

Intensive Performance Course
Intensive Ensemble Performance (level 4b)Instructor Rod Ben Zeev
In this course you will perform 4 times in 6 weeks! The goal of the course is to allow you the chance to perform and get regular feedback on the performances by the instructor. You will learn more scene work technique which you will apply in your ensemble along with advanced games. The focus of the course is ensemble work.
Class runs Mondays 8-10:30 beginning probably in April 2010.
You must be able to partake in a minimum of five classes and at least 3 out of the 4 shows. Minimum 8 people in class, max 12.
You will receive a total of 16 hours of class time and 2 hours of performance time during the 6 week course.
Fee is 225 euro for the course and the class is limited to 12 people.
Note: You must have approval of two easylaughs instructors to attend this course.
