IN THE WILD - Stand-up - Generate

We know, when COVID turned up you were like, “Shit. I’m gonna be home all day, but you know what? This could turn out great! I’ll be able to write all the things I wanted to write for all these years.” And what’d you do? You were incredibly productive in the art of bread baking. 

Your breads are currently the best breads in NL, but you didn’t write SHEEEUUUT. You shut down your creative side, you let it hibernate with you, but now the world is slowly opening up again. So we’ve created this course to get YOU opened up again. 

So what are you offering this time, Lara and Fer?

This course is an IRL WRITING COURSE, which takes place IN THE WILD (parks).

Yes, you’re going to write. But you’re not just going to write, you’re going to write for the stage. Open mics will be back, and you wanna have J-J-JOKES prepared for those summer nights. 

This course will be 4 weeks short. An intensive journey of 90-minute classes filled with creative games and exercises oriented at getting you writing from your unique POV. And just like that, all of a sudden, you’ll have written more in one month than in the whole of 2020. 

See you there! ‘Cause you NEED this. You can bring beer/wine/liquor if it helps. And some of that 5-star bread. For your teachers.

We’ve been running outdoor sessions with small groups and it’s been a blast. Exercises and games are chosen so we can continue to be safe and have fun. We’ll keep a max of 8 people to make sure everyone gets a lot of playing time. Feel free to bring a drink and a snack for the after-workshop-hang!

If you’re used to Amsterdam weather, you know the drill, prepare for all types of weather. Our outside locations have covered spots nearby. Rain, sleet or snow won’t stop us, we are all-weather improvisers! Ok, well, if the trams stop running and things start flooding, the end is nigh, we’ll cancel.

• and you cancel up to one week before the start, you will receive a voucher in the amount you paid. The voucher can be applied to any of our services and is valid for 6 months.
