That’s why we’re delighted to introduce Caroline Pickard, our independent Confidential Advisor / Vertrouwenspersoon. Below, she explains her role and how you can reach out.
Hi there!
I'm the external Confidential Advisor (vertrouwenspersoon) for everyone involved with easylaughs—students, performers, teachers, volunteers, and workshop participants.
What I Do
I’m here to offer a listening ear, guidance, and support if you experience or witness inappropriate or unsafe behaviour. Whether you just want to talk or explore next steps, you’re in control of what happens.
My Role

Independent & Confidential: I work outside easylaughs and keep everything private—unless there’s a legal obligation to act. You’ll always be informed first.

Support, Not Therapy: I don’t investigate or treat—I support and refer where needed.

Inappropriate behaviour: harassment, bullying, discrimination, (sexual) intimidation

Integrity issues: misconduct affecting others or the organisation (confidentiality may be limited here)

I may share anonymised trends with leadership to improve the culture.I am able to offer Bilingual Support in Dutch and English. I'm a native English speaker and certified Dutch vertrouwenspersoon.
