WORKSHOP - Be More Funny!

Be More Funny! is a stand-up comedy intensive that focuses on the basics of stand-up and using those basics to enhance your authentic comedy voice. We will do some pre-class homework/in class writing assignments, watch comedy clips, and work on performance and material in the workshop. The class will include both group learning and private coaching type teaching so that each student walks away with a better idea of their own unique comedy voice.

Lisa Gopman grew up in Ohio and shortly after her 18th birthday, headed to California to attend the USC School of Dramatic Arts. She developed her own humorous college magazine column called 'Sketchy Girl' while attending USC and was encouraged by her professors and friends to take her wacky life onto the standup stage.
