WORKSHOP - Intro to Tech

This workshop takes place on 3 Fridays: 26 Jan, 02 Feb & 09 Feb, 17-18:30h.

What are the possibilities with theater technique for improv shows? How do we use these in a show? These workshops give you the off stage information you need if you are interested in doing tech for improv shows or when you perform and wonder what tech can and cannot do for you to improve your improv. 

This is a series of three workshops: 

1: Light 

What can we do with light? How do we prepare light for a show. How do we operate it? What makes good theatre lighting? 

2: Sound 

We use sound in several ways in improv: scoring scenes, editing scenes, energising the audience, sound effects, and more. How do we prepare and operate this? What gear do we use and how? 

3: Edits 

Light and sound, and sometimes video, work together to edit scènes or short form games. When do we edit scenes? How do we make it more theatrical? How do we make it clear? How do we find the right moment?

This workshop is  open to all levels of experience. Booking online in advance is required.
