WORKSHOP - Sunday Skills - Playing Other Ages

How do you play someone much older or younger than you without the character falling into clichés? That’s what this workshop is all about. We’ll explore what it means to create a well-rounded character while challenging ourselves to play ages that are dramatically different from our own. We’ll focus on the extremes, from kids to the elderly, and explore how age can influence the way a character moves, speaks, and interacts with others.

While looking at and playing with different ages will be our starting point, we’ll also explore how to play different types of characters within the same age range, giving each one their own wants, needs, and personality.
