Course Description

Taught by Bodei Brouwer. In this 4-week advanced improv course, you’ll learn how to build rich, dynamic universes filled with heartfelt relationships, grounded emotions, and delightfully absurd possibilities. The central question — “If this is true, what else is true?” — will guide you as you expand each scene into a vibrant, interconnected reality. Through playful exploration and organic discovery, you’ll learn to shape a freeform-style show that grows naturally from the choices you and your ensemble make together. Each week, you’ll focus on deepening relationships, expanding the world around them, and finding seamless, intuitive ways to shift between scenes. By the end, you’ll be ready to perform Meanwhile, Elsewhere — a living, breathing world of your own creation, where anything can happen… and probably will.
