Course Description

Taught by Peter More. In this course, we will look at the structure and style of a heist movie. Over 4 weeks, we will look at the beats and phases of a heist story. We will look at creating a group of highly different characters with varying relationships who have to work together to achieve a complex goal with high stakes and big risks. We will use both the structure of a “classic heist” as well as a framework that allows for a more open structure. This course is for people with some improv experience who are comfortable playing characters and creating physical situations.
