Improv Level 4

Course Description

It's time to roll up our sleeves and breathe more life into our improv characters and relationships! Strong characters and meaningful relationships make an improv scene more engaging and enjoyable to watch. When we clearly establish our characters and relationships, we make it easier for our scene partners to react to our choices. We will also go deeper with our object work. Our improv scenes become richer when we let our object work do the talking. Focusing on object work helps us take our time in scenes to let the magic of creating do its work. In Level 4 we will: · Generate character through physicality, mantras, objects and obsessions · Use object work to communicate character emotions and POV · Create detailed objects that are important to characters and relationships · Show off what we learned at our graduation show on April 24th!! This is an intermediate course designed for improvisers who have completed all Improv Level 1-3 (or equivalent). Not sure if this course is for you?
