On 6th March 2023, easylaughs will start a standup comedy course in Utrecht taught by our head-of-learning, Steven Morgan. The first of many to come. 8 weeks, a performance at the end, all of the high quality expectations you expect from easylaughs, but now in a whole new location!

The easylaughs standup comedy course covers all basic performance techniques so that you take to the stage as though you've been doing it all of your life. We also share ways to make writing techniques a part of your life, capturing yourself at your best. You undergo a journey of self-discovery about how you are perceived by others and what it is you can do with this information. We analyse material with a critical eye, practicing intensive editing, and understanding exactly what is necessary and what is not. We help you discover your authentic self and give you the foundations from which you can build from that. We explore different styles and techniques outside your comfort zone in order to learn new things. We focus in on the details and importance of delivery both verbally and physically, and how much of a difference these elements of communication can make. We help you deal with the unexpected in an effortless way, leaving you unphased by whatever unexpected things come up.
